About Christmas Creations

It’s hard to believe that Christmas Creations opened its doors back in 1980! Owned and operated by Peggy Parker since its inception, our store was born from a passion for keeping memories alive through personalized ornaments. Initially, Peggy ran Country Creations, a country store filled with her handmade treasures, when she was approached by a mall manager with an exciting proposal – to open a Christmas store. The response was overwhelming, and Peggy quickly realized how much joy the season brought her. This spark led her to fully commit to Christmas Creations.

Though Peggy jokes that she only works two months a year, the reality is quite the opposite. As soon as the season wraps up, she’s busy buying and preparing for the next Christmas celebration. Over the years, Christmas Creations has grown from its original location in Bloomington, Illinois, to become a beloved part of the Bloomington/Normal area, and where we are proud to serve customers from all over Illinois and visitors from all over the world.

The best part of owning Christmas Creations is the relationships we build with our customers. Every year, families return to pick out their special, memorable ornament, and we love getting to know them. It’s these connections that make our work so meaningful.
